There's nothing like enjoying black cherry ice cream with red wine and some chocolate chip cookies in bed while reading the newly released Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince as the windows resonate from the howling winds of the largest typhoon to hit the island since 2000. Typhoon Haitang registers as a Category 5 on a five-step storm scale and has maximum sustained winds of 115 mph and gusts of up to 141 mph. Weather conditions are expected to worsen as the massive typhoon that is larger than the island of Taiwan itself sweeps over the nation during the midnight hours, so there will certainly be no shortage of intense medical action at the hospital tomorrow.
Snuggling underneath the covers to read a good book during a powerful thunderstorm has always been one of my favorite pastimes. But perhaps it's time I put down Harry and prepare myself for the arduous new week ahead by going to bed.

sounds like heaven!! I'm trying to refrain from reading it 24/7, since I'm supposed to be studying for step 2!

you need to ask the question, WHY does snape kill dumbledore. shouldn't his allegiance to the academy force him to chose death over murder, if he's so proud of his title of a prince???

Oh I'm a fan of Ben & Jerry's, but we don't get that here. Just Dreyers, which is really good and reasonably priced. Haagen-Dazs too, but that's too expensive.

Did you know Dreyer's is called Edy's on the East Coast?

Edy's, eh? Personally I prefer Dreyer's. It just sounds better.
